Marushin Mateba Review

Marushin Mateba Review

Overview:

Marushin's Mateba revolver is a captivating airsoft replica that faithfully captures the unique design and functionality of the original Mateba 2006M revolver. This airsoft replica is a standout in terms of its aesthetics and performance.

Quality:

The Marushin Mateba replica truly shines with its attention to detail. It accurately replicates the futuristic and distinctive appearance of the Mateba 2006M, making it a standout piece in any collection. From the signature barrel shroud to the ergonomic grip, every aspect of the design has been faithfully recreated. The trademarks and markings on the replica further enhance its authenticity.

Marushin has not compromised on the quality and construction of the Mateba replica. The revolver boasts solid build quality and durability. The materials used in its construction, including one of the following; ABS or Heavyweight for the frame and barrel, ensure a robust and long-lasting airsoft gun. The finish is excellent, further adding to its overall appeal.

marushin did several variants of the mateba; from a ghost in the shell anime collaboration, to 8mm & 6mm systems. All with their own twist.

Internals:

The Mateba replica is not just visually impressive; it also delivers on performance. It features a reliable gas system that provides a satisfying, realistic shooting experience. The revolver operates on a single action, as well as double action firing mechanism, giving it a unique feel compared to traditional airsoft pistols. The trigger pull is smooth, and the cylinder rotation adds to the authenticity of the shooting experience.

One notable feature of the Marushin Mateba is its rotary cylinder design, which differs from the typical swinging cylinder found in most revolvers. This design contributes to the unique aesthetics of the replica and sets it apart from other airsoft handguns. Whereas on a normal revolver, the cylinder typically just swings out to the left, on the mateba it rotates a full 180* to the top of the pistol

the Mateba features a typical TDC hop-up which most revolver replicas lack; this can be adjusted bia a whole in the top of the barrel shroud, or by removing the shround. Which can be done by unscrewing the barrel cap at the very front of the replica.

Hi, this review is wrong. The Marushin isn’t the Model 6 Unica, its the 2006M(2007M in the Ghost in the Shell Special Editions case). The Unica has a side swinging cylinder and is semi-automatic.
