Marushin P210 Review

Marushin P210 Review

OVERVIEW

The marushin P210 is an amazingly faithful replica of the real steel gun. The pistol was originally made for the military, so lacks a lot of features that are common on current civilian type pistols, this also makes the pistol more reliable, and easier to use. On the left side of the frame is the slide catch, and behind that is the safety lever (in the same location as a modern day P22X series decocker.)

The PIstol internally is extremely simple, making cleaning and fixing quite easy

QUALITY

The pistol feels amazing in the users hands, it is a medium sized handgun that i feel falls into the goldilocks zone for most people, the fairly low bore slide is reminiscent of a CZ pistol, giving lower recoil, but snappier rate of fire. Even though the body is ABS (Or a heavyweight polymer) it still feels extremely sturdy and not like plastic at all, i do wish marui would go a route like this instead of their crappy plastic. all of the tolerances on the P210 are amazingly tight, the slide and frame have little to no play and everything runs very efficiently.

INTERNALS AND OPERATION

The pistol uses marushins "LD-2" blowback system, which is a close copy of the negative pressure system that was invented by Tanio Koba, and used on most modern day pistols, while this system works fine i do wish marushin would have went a positive pressure blowback system (like western arms.)

The firegroup is super simple as this pistol is single action only, with the safety only blocking the trigger. Everything works smoothly with a small number of well designed parts, this will last a while.

One of the thing i get tripped up on, is that for disassembly, you have to pull the spring guide "holder?" back in order to get everything out, the tight tolerances make it take a little longer to get it out
