Tokyo Marui UZI review

Tokyo Marui UZI review

Overview:

Tokyo Marui's Uzi airsoft replica is a remarkable addition to their lineup, offering enthusiasts a chance to experience the iconic firearm in a safe and enjoyable manner. The attention to detail and craftsmanship put into this replica is truly impressive, From the no-creak build quality to how smooth the fire selector and magazine release are; and even the master engineering of the Version 5 gearbox!

Quality:

The Tokyo Marui Uzi boasts exceptional quality throughout its construction. The materials used, such as the sturdy polymer receiver and the realistic, full metal stock stock, contribute to its overall durability. The finish is top-notch, giving the replica an authentic appearance. The weight of the Uzi feels substantial, adding to the realistic feel when handling the gun. Additionally, the inclusion of a sling enhances the replica's realism. While some users have reported issues with the internals, such as the nozzle, I personally haven't encountered any problems with my own Uzi. Both sides of the receiver do feature "Trademarks" at the rear, if you can even call them that. they look very inaccurate and would have been better left off. The Replica can accept a wooden stock as some users have done. The charging handle does rack but unfortunately does not move the mock bolt. Hop-up is instead adjusted under the dust cover where your 9.6 battery sits. This replica does feature a working grip safety unlike other uzis on the market.

Internals and Operation:

The Tokyo mauri Uzi uses the Version 5 gearbox. This gearbox takes everything you know as traditional and turns it upside down, giving even the most talented techs a run for your money (unless you're one of Allen Airsoft techs ;)) The Gears and motor sit in the rear of the receiver, held together with a 2 piece gearbox shell that holds everything, including the hop-up. the piston actually sits at the front of the replica, when fired the gears rotate a steel rod, which in turn pushes the piston back. when the piston is released it flies in the direction of the user. a then patented nozzle and hop-up system re-directs the air down the barrel (which runs through the center of the piston.)

Overall, the Tokyo Marui Uzi delivers on its promise of providing a realistic airsoft experience. The attention to detail, quality construction, and functional features contribute to its authenticity. Whether you're a collector, a Cold-war enthusiast, or an airsoft player looking for a unique addition to your arsenal, the Tokyo Marui Uzi is definitely worth considering.
