Marui AA12 review

Marui AA12 review

Overview:

The AA12 is a famous shotgun in the real steel world; known for both its reliability and counter-recoil mechanisms, it’s definitely made its mark; which TM picked up on. Every small detail is faithfully recreated on this masterpiece of a gun.

Quality:

when you hear that this replica has full polymer externals; you may feel a little let down; however this is one of the heaviest replicas ive ever held. Coming in at ~7 pounds unloaded, and even more with the drum. The polymer is sturdy and not creaky. The front of the replica is textured for grip. There is an easy to reach mag catch on the trigger guard. The replica has 3 adjustable hop-ups for the barrels.

Internals:

the AA12 features a proprietary gearbox design with an enlarged piston and cylinder system to power each BB. The replica is also the first AEG from TM to use a mosfet battery regulation system; stopping your battery from getting too low and dying forever. The Hop-ups are all independently adjusted from under the bolt cover; each hopup controls a different direction. Innovative over the normal up/down adjustment normally found in AEGs.
